My Story

Dr. Hartaj Virk,, is a dual board-certified cardiovascular disease specialist and interventional cardiologist.

With over 25 years of ecperience,  currently serves as the Director of Cardiac Cath Lab/Interventional Cardiology at St. Joseph's University Medical Center, NJ, USA, for the HVA Medical group, New Jersey USA.

Dr. Virk completed his internal medicine residency at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, Seton Hall University (SHU), School of Health and Medical Sciences, in Elizabeth, NJ. He continued his training at SHU, completing cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark. He specializes in endovascular procedures and treats the full scope of cardiovascular diseases.

With a broad background in cardiovascular research, Dr. Virk has extensively published his results in peer-reviewed scientific journals. He also frequently presents his findings at professional meetings for groups such as the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Medical Association.
